Set
The SET Command enables you to ALTER certain fields of your personal
profile. The fields you may ALTER are:
AUTOCOPY RECEIPT CHARACTER.SET
CONTROLS SIGNON POSTAL.ADDRESS
NAME STATUS ALIAS
PHONES ZONE LANGUAGE
PURGETIMER
If you enter SET at the Command? Prompt, you are given the opportunity to
see your current profile, then prompted for the name of the field you wish
to alter. You will then be prompted for the information pertinent to that
field, and Envoy 100 will confirm your new setting and indicate the
presence of an error, and prompt you for replacement information. Some
fields can be altered `temporarily' -- to be in effect during the current
session only; when you sign off, your previous setting will be back in
effect. You can use the SET Command again to remove the temporary setting.
Once you are familiar with the field names and their options, you may wish
to bypass the SET prompting sequence and enter all the pertinent
information in a single Command line. For example, SET AUTOCOPY ON. You
can even request a temporary setting with one Command; for example, SET
AUTOCOPY OFF (TEMP).
For more information on fields which can be SET arrow down to the field
name then press the right arrow.
